Description:
The Town of Bucksport is located at the head of Penobscot Bay, and is home to approximately 5,000 people. Since the first settlers arrived in 1763, noteworthy events in the town's history have included Revolutionary War naval battles, visits from five presidents, and even a legendary witch's curse involving Colonel Jonathan Buck, the founder of our town.
A major feature of the town is the downtown waterfront area, which draws people from miles around to enjoy both its recreational offerings.
