Our whale watch season begins in May and runs into October. We have one to two trips per day. July thru Labor Day we feature multiple cruises to the whale feeding grounds everyday.
2018 Season exhibits will be open from Monday, June 11 through Columbus Day.
The offices are open and staffed year round Monday-Friday, with research opportunities available by appointment.

The Islesford Historical Museum is open daily June 15th through September 6th from 11:00 am until 4:00 pm and September 7th through September 30th 9:00 am until 3:00 pm.
Winter Hours: Open Thursday, Friday & Saturday, 10am-4pm
We will be opening for the season on May 23 (Memorial Day Weekend), open 7 days a week until August 31. Starting on Labor Day, we will be closed Mondays and Tuesdays in September, then closed for the season on September 28, 2015.

The trail is open every day from dawn to dusk and is universally accessible.
Hours of Operation: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekends, holidays, and other special event days from Memorial Day weekend to Columbus Day weekend, weather and volunteer availability permitting.
Accessibility: Lighthouse is at the end of a 7/8-mile long breakwater.
