The Maine Lobster Festival happens this week--July 29 through August 2--at Harbor Park on the Rockland waterfront. This nationally recognized festival is one of Maine's premier summer events, and for the past several years scores of articles about the Festival have appeared in international magazines and major metropolitan newspapers. The Maine Lobster Festival has also been featured on several international television programs, including a feature broadcast on the Food Network.

Visitors will enjoy various arts and crafts vendors, U.S. Coast Guard Station tours, seafood cooking contests, road races, carnival rides, games and activities for the kids, as well as great live entertainment, and the Big Parade, featuring a variety of bands, marching units, floats and the newly crowned Sea Goddess and her Sea Princesses. And the recently built, not-to-be-missed world’s largest lobster cooker.

More information and the schedule of festival events can be found at www.mainelobsterfestival.com.
